We'll take a look at one of its features, which is that you can tilt it away. To do so, what I like to do is just to put that arm to the side, that way I can step right in there, step on this lever and then just drop this bike rack down to a tilt. more

Now the Kuat NV is an awesome bike rack because of how it combines all of its nice, beautiful premium features with a great design. So one of those features is that it can tilt away and to do so, you're gonna have to pull on this lever and that allows it to drop down to a tilt. And you want it to tilt away if you want to access your hatch. So as you can see here, on our Mazda, there is a lot of room between our door and our handlebars. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Mazda CX-9- Video
Hi everyone, it's here at etrailer. And today we're looking at the Kuat Sherpa 2.02 bike rack here on our 2016 Mazda CX9. Now the Kuat Sherpa is an awesome stylish bike rack, which is great for most of your bikes, especially if you have carbon 3M bikes, or if you need something that has locks and is kind of middle of the road, not as expensive as say the Kuat NV but still offers you all the premium features you could ask for. So one of those features is that this can tilt away. To do so, you pull this lever right over here and you just drop that bike rack down and you'll want to tilt it away if you want to access your hatch. So, as you can see here on our Mazda CX9, we actually have plenty of clearance between our door and our handlebars, allowing us to get into our trunk, we can grab our bags, or grab our helmets or grab a water, all of that without having to take our bike rack or our bike off. more

Now it's gonna be an awesome way of getting a lot of bikes, to your destination guys. Now right at the gate it can look a little messy, you have a lot of straps, got a lot of pivot points. However when you really start seeing how well the job, it starts holding your bike on, I think you are becoming a bigger fan, just like I have been. Taking a look too, one thing I really like, you are getting reflectors, right on the very end of this guy, I don't think it's standard enough across the industry and I love to point them out because it's just nice to go ahead and make sure that our friends and family can get home safe, whether be it from a long drive at night or on one of those long road trips, can be nice to go ahead and make sure people to know, exactly where we are, especially being in an all black rack, like here today. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Mazda CX-30- Video
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2020 Mazda CX 30, we're going to be checking out the Tuli helium pro hitch mounter bike rack. So right off the bat, kind of my first impressions of the rack is I think it looks really good actually on the back of the Mazda. Kind of has that, you know, that streamlined sporty look which really matches the lines well and it's going to hold our bike up nice and high off the ground too, out of harm's way. Not so high that it's going to block our view when we're going down the road, but, you know, still be able to kind of keep an eye on them, you know, whenever you're driving. So this particular rack can hold up to a total of two bikes. more

If you're looking for a straightforward, nothing too crazy, very simple bike rack just to get your friends or family's bikes to the trails, to the park, or even on a trip, this would probably be the better option for you. As you can see with this hanging style bike rack, it will hold up to 4 bikes. We use hook and loop straps here on each cradle that are rubber lined as well. And to load and unload, you would just simply unstrap the front and the side one as well, and then remove your bike from there. more

If you're looking for a bike rack to install that's going to be easy and lightweight, maybe something that you can do by yourself, this would probably be one of the better options. Taking a look at the simplicity of this design as well, there's only three contact points to hold your bike secure. With that being said, having this 360 movable frame mount point you'll have different options for different style of bikes. So this is a great bike rack if you're looking for something that is lightweight and easy to install. It's a good entry level four bike platform rack, so you can still carry all your bikes without having to pay too much. The way our bike is mounted to this bike rack is by one, two wheel straps and this frame mount over here. If you look at the frame mount, this works really well with non-traditional bike frames or traditional ones because of it's 360 rotation. To dismount the bike, you just start with these wheels strips.So I recommend holding onto the bike a little bit as you press that lever and pull up on the strap. more

There's a lot of people who've tried this bike rack. It's tried, tested and true.So, the way our bike is mounted to this bike rack here is by three mounting points, so we have one, two and three. So this third one down here is the hold fast anti-sway cradle, which is something that Thule is very proud of having at this price point. So you can see how it really takes out the sway of our bike while it is on our rack. more

This is a great option, especially if you have a heavy e-bike, because it has an 80 pound weight capacity, which is a lot.So the first thing I want to show you is how it tilts away with the bike on it. To do so you need to take out this pin and clip here. So with that clip out of the way, you just need to pull that pin out. Now it is a tight fit, so you might need to lift the rack up a little bit while you pull that pin out. And with that out of the way, you then pull on this top lever. more

This is a hang-style bike rack, good for your road bikes, mountain bikes, alternative frame bikes, and kids' bikes. Now, I wouldn't recommend putting a carbon fiber bike on here, just because it's hanging style. You don't want to damage the frame of your bike at all. It attaches with these ratchet straps here. more
